Band Camp 2009-  Is fast approaching.  Students, there are some items that you need to think
about bringing with you each day.  They are: pack lunch, sunscreen, insect repellant, comfortable
clothing, sturdy shoes for marching, a hat and water bottle for outside and your instrument.  Parents, there are documents on the "Forms" link that need to be filled out for camp.  Also, don't forget that the PPE fee ($150.00) is due during camp.  Click on the "News and Events" link for an explanation of the PPE fee.  Click on the "Band Calendar" link for camp dates and times.
BE EARLY EACH DAY, there is a lot to do. If you have any further questions about Band Camp 2009, contact Mr. Bennett.

These are the scores that the Blue Thunder Concert Band earned with a lot of hard work at the Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) Concert Event  -  March 14, 2009
@ Arnold High School Auditorium.  3 Superior scores from the concert portion and 1 superior score from the sight reading portion.  Great job Mr. Bennett and Band members.

Congratulations are in order for eight Blue Thunder Band students who participated in
the Florida Bandmaster's Association District Solo & Ensemble Festival in Graceville, Florida on February 13, 2009.  Well done  to Garrett Meadows**(Superior rating), Andrea Offley**(Superior rating), Duncan McIntyre**(Superior rating), Hannah Schnoering (Superior rating), Liam Underwood (Superior rating), Hali Burns (Superior rating), Eric Filler (Excellent rating), and Brandon Ford (Excellent rating).  Click here for photos.

Congratulations to Blue Thunder Band Drum Major Dylan Hendrickson.  He was selected as Outstanding Drum Major by Bowl Games of America officials at the recent band competition during the BCS event in Miami, Florida.  Click on his name above for photos.
