• BAND TRIP PAYMENTS NOW OVERDUE:  There are still a few students
  who haven't paid all the money they owe for the band trip.  The money is now
  overdue, so if your student has an outstanding balance, please take care of it
  ASAP.  Kristi Bancroft (234-8686 days, krisbank@comcast.net) can tell you
  how much you owe.
  
  
• SPRING TRIP ALMOST HERE:  The spring band trip is April 17-20,  Don't
  forget that all students going on the trip will need to bring a pair of khaki pants
  to wear during the Universal performance.  These need to be nice pants (no
  cargo pants, no cuffs, no ornamentation, no holes, no shorts, no capris, etc.). 
  The band has a limited number / limited sizes of khaki pants available for purchase
   if you need them, but students are free to bring their own.  Also, students should
  bring swimsuits if they want to swim, particularly if they aren't going to see Blue
  Man Group.
  
  
• INVITES OUT FOR SPRING AWARDS BANQUET MAY 5th: 
  The invitations for the spring awards banquet, May 5th from 6 - 9 p.m.,at
  Mariott's Bay Point Resort, were mailed last Saturday, so let us know if you
  didn't receive one.  Note that an RSVP is required by April 28.  Just a heads up: 
  There will be a table set up at the banquet selling remaining Blue Thunder sweatshirts,
  T-shirts, and hats if you're looking for some inexpensive gifts that show support
  for the Arnold Band!
  
  

  Finally, check out the band page in the April AHS newsletter (just out)
  for a list of all the many band and individual music accomplishments
  this year.  (Please  let me know if any student was inadvertently left out.)

KEEP SELLING ONIONS: The sales deadline is Thursday, April 24, and the onions will be delivered on Saturday, May 3rd.  For everything you always wanted to know about Vidalia onions and some great recipes, visit www.vidaliaonion.org.

This is a popular fundraiser and can raise a lot of money, so please encourage your student to participate -- and consider buying some onions yourself!  A 10-pound bag sells for $10.  The onions come directly from M&T Farms in Vidalia, Georgia, and taste wonderful.  They will arrive the week of May 5th. • Wish List!
  We're starting a Wish List of small things we need that parents might have lying around the house or be willing to donate.  First on the list is approximately 40 trouser hangers with the non-slip bar on which to hang the new tuxedo pants.  If you have a contact at one of the department stores or gift shops that might be willing to donate, please let us know.  They do sell them at Target and Wal-Mart, where I think they cost approximately $4-$5 for three.

  best fundraisers, and provides great advertising all year-round for
